Vijayawada: About 49,108 candidates had applied for the two-day Group II mains online examination which is being held at 171 various centres in the State on July 15 and 16.

to 5 pm.Candidates were allowed one hour before the commencement of the exam on the first day, and were thoroughly checked before entering the examination hall. 
Special arrangements were made for physically challenged candidates.Earlier, notification was given for 982 posts by the APPSC.
